Batches of Cully & Sully soup recalled over presence of plastic

Batches of Cully & Sully soup are being recalled due to the presence of plastic in the products.

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland issued the recall, which noted that possible presence of red plastic packaging in the soups.

Certain batches of the brand’s Thai Chicken Soup are the only soups affected by the recall.

The recall reads: ‘Cully & Sully is recalling the above batches of its Thai Chicken Soup due to the possible presence of red plastic packaging.

‘Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores supplied with the implicated batches.’

The affected soups are 400g pots with use by dates of January 16, 2021 and January 22, 2021.

Soups with the former date and batch codes: Batch 1, Batch 2 and Batch 3 are all affected.

Products with the later date and batch codes: Batch 1, Batch 2, Batch 3 and Batch 4 are affected.
