Surge testing has been launched in parts of south London after a spike in cases of the Covid-19 Delta variant.
Anyone who lives or works in West Norwood, Brixton, Stockwell, Clapham or Vauxhall in the borough of Lambeth should get a PCR test, the department of health and social care has said – whether or not they have symptoms.
Any adults in the area who have not had a coronavirus vaccine should come forward, the NHS added.
Lambeth has the highest rate of Covid-19 cases in London, with 120.4 per 100,000 people. Some 393 positive cases were recorded between June 7 and June 13, a 31 per cent increase on the previous week.
Southwark has the sixth-highest rate of cases, with 102 per 100,000 people over the same period.
