Add a dash of fizz – or, in this case, an unlimited amount of fizz – to that and you have a wild and wonderful way for your nearest and dearest to paint the town red and be home before 10pm. Be that for a hen party, birthday celebration or just a sassy Saturday.

While Covid hit the hospitality industry hard, many bars across the city are back and offering what is known as a bottomless brunch to the masses. Have your favourite brunch meal alongside as many of your go-to cocktails as you want. The catch? You have a limited time slot to fit it all in.

1. Tonight Josephine

The latest cocktail bar and bottomless brunch spot to grace the capital, Tonight Josephine offers flamboyant and fabulous brunch parties with a variety of themes across the end of the week – we’re talking Mamma Mia, Moulin Rouge, Pop-Icons and more. There is an option for one or two hours of bottomless Spritz cocktails, beer or bubbles, with prices starting from £29, depending on which brunch you’re going for. If you’re looking to paint the town pink with a daytime party, this brunch spot is for you.

2. The Stable

Renowned for its pizzas, The Stable is adding some extra pezzazz to its staple dish with bottomless bubbles and beer. On offer every Saturday from 11.30am-4pm, indulge for 90 minutes with sourdough pizza, a pudding of your choice and bottomless bevs for just £25 per person. Looking for some ‘gram-worthy cocktails to complete your brunch? Upgrade to unlimited Aperol, Blackcurrant or Regal Spritz for £5 per person.

3. Pitch Bar and Eatery

Priding themselves on simple, honest, modern Welsh food, Pitch’s bottomless brunch includes any dish from their breakfast menu – along with bottomless prosecco or draught for 90 minutes. With traditional full breakfasts – vegan and veggie plates available – they also offer their special Mill Laner breakfast and Pitch Eggs.

Available every day until 3pm, prices are £29.50. You can stay until 5pm if you have upgraded to a main course for an extra £5.

4. Cosy Club

With a wide array of breakfast dishes on offer in their locations both in Cardiff Bay and central, Cosy Club’s Boundless Brunch is exactly that. Add drinks like unlimited prosecco, Bloody Mary’s, and classic mimosas to any breakfast dish for £25 per person.

Available from 10am – 11.30am.

5. Culley’s Kitchen & Bar

At £30 a head, Culley’s Kitchen and Bar, inside the renovated The Coal Exchange Hotel in Cardiff Bay, offers a two-course bottomless brunch for 90 minutes. With a choice of prosecco or beer – you can choose between Glamorgan Welsh Lager, Dead Canary IPA or Strongbow Dark Fruits – and either staple breakfast plates or mains, such as a chicken ceasar salad or Culley’s Club Sandwich, it’s a Welsh brunch spot you’ll want to tick off your list.

If you’re laying off booze and are after a virgin bottomless brunch, the price is £20. Brunch runs every Friday and Saturday from 11am – 16:30pm.

6. Club 29 Disco

Boogie on down to bottomless brunch at this hot spot where, after receiving a glass of Prosecco on arrival, you can enjoy a sharing platter of breads and dips before tucking into Club 29’s signature brunch plate. For £29.95pp, you can get buttermilk chicken and rosemary goujons on a Belgian waffle. Topped with maple syrup and smoked bacon, your brunch slot will last 90 minutes and be perfectly complimented by bottomless Prosecco or jugs of Steam Brew pilsner or cider. And if that wasn’t enough to entice you, your brunch will be soundtracked by disco and pop classics from the bars resident DJs.

7. Grey

With a mid-week menu and weekend menu for a fizz-flowing bottomless brunch, prices at the Hilton’s restaurant are £28.50 during the week, and increase to £30.50 for Saturday and Sunday. For 90 minutes you can enjoy a main plate and sweet “guilty pleasure” dish with the likes of crushed avocado on rye bread and Welsh rarebit on ‘proper’ toast, followed by Grey Black Forrest Knickerbocker Glory or stack of buttermilk pancakes.

If you go on a weekend, you can even have steak.

8. Revolucion de Cuba

At £30 per person, Revs De Cuba offer 90 minutes of bottomless fun.

They do a selection of summer cocktails for guests to taste, such as refreshing frozen Strawberry Daiquiri’s and Aperol Spritz or for those with more savoury taste buds, the classic Bloody Mary. Pints of Mahou and Prosecco are also included on the menu.

If you don’t fancy a traditional fry up, they offer a variety of cuban-inspired brunch dishes- including breakfast burritos and Cubano Benedict running every day.

9. Turtle Bay

Turtle Bay restaurants can be found across the UK, including Cardiff and Swansea.

They offer bottomless brunch every single day for two hours of unlimited cocktails from their menu, mocktails, prosecco or good old Red Stripe with any brunch dish from £31.50 per person.

From traditional brunch dishes like avocado smash and their “sunshine-inspired” Big Kingston Grill Down to burgers and fresh roti dishes. They take bookings daily, last sitting at 3pm Monday to Saturday and 5pm on a Sunday.

10. Dirty Martini

Dirty Martini offer a Martini Brunch Spritz Style. You’ll have 90 minutes to enjoy bottomless drinks including limited-edition spring spritzes, martinis, G&Ts, prosecco and beer, as well as a selection of summer foods served in a beautiful brunch birdcage – which you can specify as standard, vegetarian or vegan and gluten free.

Brunching early on in the week will cost £30 per person Monday to Thursday until August. Friday – Sunday prices are £35 per person. Served until 4pm each day.

11. Las Iguanas

Las Iguanas is well known for it’s delicious Latin American dishes but also boasts an extended cocktail menu too.

They offer a starter, main course and unlimited prosecco or draft beer for £29.95 and you can upgrade to unlimited cocktails for an extra £5.

Main courses include burritos, enchiladas and a variety of burgers. It’s available to book everyday for a 90 minute slot. They have a branch in the city centre and in Cardiff Bay.

12. Philharmonic

The Philharmonic is associated with being one of Cardiff’s favourite restaurants, bars and clubs for the past 20 years.

Their famous Philly bottomless brunch allows customers to choose from the likes of a full Welsh breakfast, smashed avocado and buttermilk pancakes for their dish. Upgrade to a main or have yourself a sweet treat afterwards of churros for an extra £3 per head. Guests can enjoy 90 minutes of Aperol Spritz, prosecco, Coors Light, mimosas and more for £30 per person. Available every day, the last sitting is 3pm.

Upgrade to their Secret Garden bottomless brunch for an extra £5pp.

13. Slug and Lettuce

There are two Slug and Lettuce branches in Cardiff- one on St. Mary Street and one on The Friary.

They offer two hours of bottomless prosecco, Aperol Spritz, mimosas, bloody – and virgin – marys, Amstel and soft drinks with a wide range of brunch dishes including Pornstar Martini pancakes for £30 per head. Include their Pornstar Martini, upgrade for £10.

14. The Botanist

At The Botanist you can choose from dishes including a full English, Nutella french toast, and shakshuka with crème fraîche and flatbread.

It is one of the most stunning dining experiences in the city and even has a rooftop garden. From £30 per person there is unlimited prosecco, Aperol spritz or a house pint for 90 minutes.

15. Revolution

Revolution offers a standard bottomless brunch from just £30 per person.

Lasting 90 minutes, the Cardiff branch’s bottomless brunch includes one of their delicious brunch dishes – from their classic brunch grill, which can be made vegan, to a fried chicken and bacon waffle – and five drinks from their selection of cocktails and fizz every Thursday-Sunday from 11am-4pm. If you’re feeling boujee, you can opt for the premium bottomless brunch for an additional £10pp, which will add Pornstar Martinis and Vodka & tonics into the mix.

16.The Alchemist

The Alchemist is well known for their fancy cocktail creations. But their All That Glitters Brunch is equally as delightful.

For £25 you can get a brunch dish with three of the Alchemist’s magical and fantastically named cocktails every Saturday and Sunday between 10am-2pm.

The menu offers traditional breakfast foods along with chicken wings and waffles.
