Help to Grow: Digital is a UK-wide scheme to help small and medium-sized businesses adopt digital technologies proven to increase productivity.
The scheme offers:
- free, impartial advice and guidance about what digital technology is best suited to your business and how it can boost your business’ performance 
- targeted financial support, if your business is eligible, worth up to £5,000 towards the costs of buying approved digital technologies
The Help to Grow: Digital scheme launched in January 2022. It will run for three years.
Help to Grow: Digital – advice and guidance
The Help to Grow: Digital website provides all businesses with free and impartial information and support to help them adopt new software.
This includes:
- guidance and tools to help you understand which digital technology is best suited to your business
- a software comparison tool
- checklists to help you see whether you’re ready and how to integrate new software
- case studies about similar businesses that have adopted new software
Eligibility criteria for advice and guidance
All businesses can access free, impartial advice and guidance on digital technology adoption on the Help to Grow: Digital website.
Help to Grow: Digital – financial discount
The scheme also offers financial help to buy digital technology. Eligible businesses can get a 50 per cent discount on approved software solutions up to a maximum of £5,000.
The Help to Grow: Discount is currently available from approved suppliers of the following software types:
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Digital Accounting
- eCommerce
Eligibility criteria for a financial discount
The Help to Grow: Digital financial discount on the costs of buying approved software is available if your business:
- has between 1 and 249 employees
- is a UK company registered with Companies House or on the Financial Conduct Authority’s Mutuals Register
- is actively trading for over a year before applying for the discount
- is purchasing the software for the first time
