Inside Phil Neville’s £2.75m Beetham Tower flat that is still on market after more than ten years

The three storey apartment has been slashed by £1.3m over the last decade

A stunning four-bed flat, owned by former Manchester United player Phil Neville, still remains on sale after more than a decade.

Positioned on the 44th, 45th and 46th floors of the exclusive Beetham Tower, the property has been on and off the market for the last 10 years – and has been subject to various price cuts.

The 44-year-old manager first put the Deansgate triplex apartment on the market back in 2010 for a whopping £4 million.

After it struggled to sell, the flat was rented out for a reported £15,000 per month before being refurbished, redecorated and put back on the market once again.

The three storey flat was then listed on Zoopla for £3.5 million back in July 2020, but after failing to sell again, the price was slashed by £750,000 in March 2021.

The desirable property now remains on the market for £2.75 million – and is still looking for an owner.

With unrivalled, panoramic views of the city centre skyline, Beetham Tower is considered one of Manchester’s best developments.

Neville’s Orchid Suite spans 4,400 square foot and sits just below the spectacular penthouse owned by the skyscraper’s designer, Ian Simpson.

The recent refurb saw the swanky apartment have its marble floors restored, underfloor heating installed, and a state-of-the-art automation system fitted to control the security, lighting, audio and temperature through touch screens.

On entering the flat via the 45th floor, you are greeted with a stunning curved entrance hall leading through to a spacious open plan lounge and kitchen dining area.

Downstairs on the 44th floor is a second reception room as well as a luxurious double bedroom with floor to ceiling windows and a huge walk in wardrobe.

On this floor there is also an office space ideal for those working from home, which provides unbeatable views of Manchester.

Up the spiral staircase on the 46th floor are the three remaining double bedrooms, with the principal suite enjoying a walk-in wardrobe and additional storage room.

There is also a luxury en suite bathroom complete with an oval shaped bath, a his and hers wash basin, and shower facilities.

The third and fourth double bedrooms share a main family bathroom, again with separate bath and shower facilities as well as his and hers wash basins.

Each floor has its own private terrace where you can soak in the impressive views of Manchester’s ever-changing skyline.

The apartment also comes with five secure parking spaces and a separate lock-up garage.

Speaking of her former home, Julie Neville has said in a previous interview: “Having lived in the apartment for four years as a family, we can vouch for its superb location.

“It’s within walking distance to some amazing bars, restaurants and shops, and is within easy reach of the motorway too.

“It has proven to be a highly popular and rentable property having been vacant for only two weeks since the day it was completed.”
