Love island star Maura Higgins was rushed to hospital after accidentally injuring herself in a horror knife incident.
The 31-year-old updated her 3.3million Instagram followers on her condition on Monday evening after her nasty injury.
She wrote ‘Ended up in A&E after slicing my finger to the bone… Happy f***ing Monday!!’

The hugely popular reality star has been wowing fans with updates from her recent holiday. ‘Maldives, I miss you,’ she wrote this evening, as she posted a video showing off her suitcase during her recent trip.
The Longford native travelled abroad to celebrate her birthday with Love Island friend Lucy Donlan, who she’s developed a close friendship with since their time on the show in 2019.
Maura is currently starring in a series of Christmas adverts in collaboration with Ann Summers.
The 12 Days of Maura campaign will see the Irish influencer posing in a number of stunning lingerie sets for the first 12 days of December.
Maura wasn’t the only Love Island alumni to have a bad day as Tommy Furry pulled out of his highly anticipated boxing match with Jake Paul due to a ‘severe chest infection and broken rib’.
Former YouTuber Jake Paul took to Twitter to blast Tommy following the announcement.
‘He has pulled out of the fight, the Furys have pulled out of the fight due to a medical condition. Now he will be watching at home, paying me $60, instead of getting paid millions of dollars to fight me.
‘I’ve fought with a broken nose, I’ve fought sick, get the f*** over it, this is boxing. It’s official, he was scared, I think the pressure got to him, the s*** talk got to him.’ Jake said.
UFC legend Tyron Woodley will take Fury’s place for the fight on December 18 in Tampa Bay, Florida.
