Nando’s confirms return of Fino Pitta

Date:

Nando’s has today announced the long-awaited return of its much-missed Fino Pitta, along with a range of festive faves including PERi-PERi Gravy, in its latest menu shake-up due to be rolled across restaurants, click and collect and exclusively on Nando’s delivery from Tuesday 2nd November.

Much to the delight of PERi-PERi fans, Nando’s has now officially confirmed that the fan favourite Fino Pitta which consists of a toasted pitta filled with two flame-grilled chicken thighs, grilled halloumi cheese, caramelised red onion relish and wild garlic aioli, topped with lettuce is returning to menus across Northern Ireland.

Since it was struck from the menu in March 2020, Nando’s has received over 3200 social posts from fans calling for its swift return and, having teased the announcement across its social channels for the past 7 days, Nando’s has today confirmed it’s official comeback.

And, with the festive season well upon us, Nando’s new menu will also see the anticipated come back of its Christmas classics, including Nando’s PERi-PERi Gravy – for smothering over your meal, as well as its sweet & citrusy Spiced Clementine PERi-PERi baste – in a sign that Santa is on his way! And if that isn’t enough to get your tastebuds going, we are so excited to introduce our delicious long stem broccoli served in a mouth-watering garlic and lemon oil to NI’s menu!

Nando’s has more great news for the planet. Back in May 2021 Nando’s announced ambitious plans to become 100% Carbon Neutral by November on the road to becoming Net Zero by 2030, well Nando’s is happy to announce that the first step on that plan has been reached. Sustainability conscious diners can rest assured that every meal Nando’s serves from now on is Carbon Negative.

The good news is Nando’s is filling its sack with even more sustainable presents for you this Christmas. We will be introducing the all-new warm Rainbow Rice Bowl for its plant-based friends, featuring warmed spiced grains and long-stem broccoli with houmous, rainbow slaw, pickled golden carrot and a sprinkle of seeds. And it doesn’t stop there, we are also launching our new Spiced Grains and Butternut Squash bowl with green beans, delicious dried fruit and a dash of feta.

Nando’s brand-new menu will be available in all UK and Northern Ireland restaurants from 2nd November, as well as on delivery and click & collect for those wanting to create a PERi-PERi festive feast at home.
