Jedward have never been ones to keep their opinions to themselves and they have weighed in on Paul Mescal’s Machine Gun Kelly Halloween costume.
Although it has been almost a week since the spooky season ended, there are those who are still flabbergasted by the Normal People star’s look.
The actor and reported girlfriend Phoebe Bridgers jumped on the trend of dressing up as popular celebrity couples.
While many chose to rock Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian, Paul and Phoebe paid tribute to the pop-punk couple’s pals Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox.
The pair were snapped together at a Halloween party hosted by whiskey brand Johnnie Walker in late October, Paul rocking a blonde wig with fake tattoos while Phoebe wore a black wig and cut-out black dress like Megan Fox.
But Jedward thought that Mescal’s style was a little too close to their own and weren’t shy about letting him know.
‘Paul Mescal is Jedward JEPIC Tribute act,’ Jedward teased.
While we are still waiting for Paul’s response, it appears his rumoured relationship with Phoebe is going from strength to strength. Famously, Phoebe first showed interest in the Irish man’s hit BBC series in 2020.
‘Finished Normal People and now I’m sad and horny oh wait,’ she wrote on Twitter in May 2020.
Paul responded to her tweet, writing: ‘I’m officially dead.’
The pair were then spotted looking cosy at the Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, England in October 2020.
Paul had already mentioned he was a fan of the singer, and even put some of her music on a playlist that he thought his Normal People character Connell would have listened to.
Meanwhile, Phoebe even spoke about her crush on the TV star in an interview with NME back in May. She told the magazine that she felt a ‘little pitter-patter in my heart’ when ‘that cute boy’ from the show followed her back on social media.
